Plasma tightening & stretch marks
A grid of plasma points to tighten lines on the forehead, lip and neck, and to work on mature stretch marks. Stretch marks are scars: they improve, they do not disappear.
How it worksA grid of plasma points that contracts the skin and switches on tissue repair in the treated area.
- Rhythm
- A course of sessions on large areas; one-off on small ones.
- Back to normal

What it is
It is the same plasma principle applied away from the eyelid: a grid of points that contracts the surrounding skin and activates tissue repair. It is used to tighten and soften lines on the forehead, between the brows, the lip lines, the neck and the abdomen, and to work on stretch marks.
On lip lines and forehead lines, the aim is to soften the crease and gain firmness in the skin around it. On the abdomen and on stretch marks, we work on skin that has given way, and there the expectation has to be especially realistic: the aim is to improve appearance and texture, not to erase.
Like everything done with plasma, it leaves small visible crusts for a few days. That is explained beforehand and the process is shown: there is a real case on this site, with the uncomfortable part included.
Who it is for
- Forehead and frown lines
- Lip lines on the upper lip
- Neck skin that has lost firmness
- Abdomen with mild laxity, depending on the case
- Mature white stretch marks
Better to wait, or to check first, if…
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding
- A tendency to keloids or hypertrophic scarring
- Higher phototypes and skin prone to pigmenting, without a specific assessment
- Tanned skin, or unavoidable sun exposure coming up
- Red, recent stretch marks: they are still in an active phase and are not worked the same way
- Uncontrolled diabetes, active autoimmune disease, immunosuppressive treatment or ongoing cancer treatment
- Current or recent isotretinoin
- Infections, a herpes flare-up or active lesions in the area; moles are not worked over
- Stretch marks or laxity from an ongoing or recent pregnancy while breastfeeding: we wait
- Anticoagulant treatment or clotting disorders, without your doctor’s go-ahead
- Epilepsy and known allergy to topical anaesthetics
- Recent surgery in the area without medical discharge
- A pacemaker or other implanted electronic devices
On large areas such as the abdomen or thighs, committing to the aftercare and to sun protection matters even more than on the face.
The session, step by step
- 01
Assessing the area
We look at the state of the skin, the depth of the lines or the type of stretch mark, and decide what is realistic.
- 02
Explaining the recovery
Before booking, we show you how the area is going to look during the crusting days.
- 03
Topical anaesthetic
Anaesthetic is applied and its waiting time respected.
- 04
Working the grid
We work point by point following a pattern and respecting the distance between points.
- 05
Calming and aftercare
The area is calmed and you take the crusting-days protocol away in writing.
What it feels like
Heat and brief pinpricks, with a click and a characteristic smell. On large areas the session is longer and the sensation more cumulative. Afterwards the area is hot and a little swollen.
Before and after
Before you come
- No sun or fake tan on the area in the weeks before
- Choose the date allowing for the days of visible crusting
- Come with the area clean, free of creams and makeup
- Stop acids and retinol on the area in the days before
After the session
- Do not touch or pick the crusts: they have to fall off on their own
- Keep the area clean and dry as instructed
- No pool, sauna, beach, gym or clothing that rubs while there is crusting
- High, prolonged sun protection afterwards
- The new skin looks pink at first: that is normal
When you see it
As the crusts fall, new skin appears and gradually evens out in tone. The firmness that tissue repair brings comes later and progressively. On large areas it is usually planned as a course of sessions.
What it does not do
- It does not erase stretch marks: stretch marks are scars and they do not disappear. Their appearance and texture can improve, nothing more
- It does not replace an abdominoplasty or any surgery
- It does not correct significant laxity or a lot of excess skin
- It is not a treatment without recovery
- It does not work without sun protection afterwards
