It is a cosmetic assessment, not a medical diagnosis: it establishes whether your skin is a candidate and which technique fits, and if something appears that a doctor should look at, you are told and referred. The price is always settled at the assessment, because it depends on the area, the state of your skin and the plan that makes sense in your case. That is why we do not publish fixed rates: we would rather give you a real figure after seeing you than a "from" that ends up resembling nothing.

Yes, and they are reviewed before anything is touched. Pregnancy and breastfeeding, active infections or lesions, a tendency to keloids, uncontrolled diabetes, active autoimmune disease, ongoing cancer treatment, recent isotretinoin, anticoagulants, epilepsy and implanted devices — pacemakers, prostheses, metal material — condition or rule out each technique. Where there is a medical condition involved, you are referred to a doctor.

We tell you. We would rather lose a booking than do something that does not suit your skin or what you are hoping for. In many cases there is a better alternative for what is bothering you, and in others the honest answer is that it is not solved here, and to point you to whoever can.

Yes, always, and never stop them on your own to come in. Anticoagulants and antiplatelet drugs increase bleeding and affect permanent makeup and plasma; there are everyday medications that make the skin photosensitive and affect laser; and isotretinoin means waiting. With that information we decide whether it can be done, when, and with what medical clearance.

It is uncommon, but possible, which is why we ask beforehand. Tell us if you are allergic to pigments, topical anaesthetics, latex, nickel or any cosmetic, and also if you have ever reacted to hair dye or costume jewellery. Depending on the case, the technique is ruled out, the material is changed, or a patch test is done first.

During active cancer treatment we do not work, and afterwards the answer is set by your medical team, not by us. When they discharge the area, there is cosmetic work that helps a great deal — brows, areolas, scar camouflage — and it is done slowly and with their go-ahead in writing if you have it. If your oncologist says not yet, here it is also not yet.

Permanent makeup is not carried out on minors without the authorisation of their parent or legal guardian, and there are techniques that are simply postponed until adulthood. In advanced aesthetics and technology it is assessed case by case and always with the responsible adult present. If you are unsure, ask when booking.

Not without a prior medical assessment. Any lesion that has changed colour, size or shape, that bleeds or that itches, has to be seen by a dermatologist before it is touched. In aesthetics we work on benign lesions that have already been assessed; the rest is not our territory and we are not going to take it on.

It depends a lot on the technique: an assessment is short, whereas a full permanent makeup job takes up a good part of the morning or the afternoon. When we confirm the appointment on WhatsApp we tell you which slot to block out, so you do not arrive in a rush.

Topical anaesthetic is applied before starting and topped up during the session, so most people describe it as mild discomfort — a tickle or a soft scratching — rather than pain. Lips tend to be a little more sensitive than brows. If it becomes uncomfortable at any point, we stop and reinforce the anaesthetic.

It is semi-permanent: the pigment fades gradually rather than staying forever. As a rough guide it usually holds for one to three years, although it varies a great deal with skin type, the tone chosen, how much sun you get and the aftercare. It is kept up with maintenance top-ups.

The first few days the area is protected: no direct sun, sauna, pool, intense gym or makeup over the treated area, and you avoid soaking it or scratching the flakes. At your appointment you are given the specific instructions in writing, because they change with the technique and the area.

Permanent makeup is the general name for the technique; microblading is one of its variants. Microblading draws hair by hair manually, shading creates a makeup-like blur, and the combined technique uses both. Which suits you best depends above all on your skin type.

No, although they look alike. A tattoo deposits ink at greater depth and is designed to be permanent; permanent makeup uses different pigments and depths so the colour fades over time. That is why it can be corrected and adapted as your face changes, and why it needs maintenance.

Sometimes yes and sometimes you have to wait. It depends on the tone left behind, the depth it was worked at and how much it has faded. Send a photo in natural light on WhatsApp before booking: in many cases it is immediately clear whether it is a matter of correcting now or letting it fade further.

Aquarela Lips aims for a very natural veil of colour, like a hydrated lip; Full Lips covers the whole lip with more defined colour; Star Lips plays with highlights and outline to give optical volume. Yes, and it is worth planning. Contact lenses are taken out for the session and you wait to wear them again until the area has recovered, and it is better not to have lash extensions on that day. Mention it when booking and we will organise the order of things.

Yes, once your medical team discharges you. It is a paramedical technique that gives back colour and, through light and shade, the appearance of relief. It is done with the area fully healed, never during cancer treatment or with recent radiotherapy. If you have implants or have had axillary node clearance, it has to be coordinated with your surgeon first.

On mature, stable scars, paramedical permanent makeup can bring the colour of the scar closer to the skin around it so it draws less attention. It does not erase it or change its relief. It is essential that it is completely healed and that it is assessed in person beforehand.

HIFU is high-intensity focused ultrasound: it concentrates energy in deep layers of the skin to create points of heat and stimulate collagen production, with a progressive tightening effect. It works on layers that a facelift reaches with surgery, but with no cuts and no hospital stay.

There is no standard number, and be wary of anyone who gives you one over the phone. It depends on the degree of laxity, your age, the area and what you hope to achieve. Some protocols are planned as a single session with maintenance afterwards, and others are spread out. It is defined at the assessment.

There is an initial tightening effect you notice early, but the real change is progressive: it builds over the following weeks as new collagen forms. It is a treatment of patience, not of the immediate mirror, which is why it is worth taking photos at the start.

Where there is a lot of excess skin, HIFU can improve things but does not replace surgery, and that has to be said beforehand rather than afterwards. It is very fine, controlled micro-punctures that activate the skin’s natural repair mechanism and its collagen production. It is used for uneven texture, open pores, acne after-effects, pigmentation and lack of glow, and it lets actives get in where a cream cannot reach.

It is almost always planned as a course of spaced sessions, because the result is cumulative: the skin needs time between one and the next to regenerate. The exact number depends on what you want to correct — adding glow is not the same as working on acne after-effects — and is set at the assessment.

Usually redness like mild sunburn and a feeling of tightness, which settles over the following hours. In the days afterwards you avoid the sun, moisturise thoroughly and set aside acids and exfoliants. It is best not to schedule it right before an event.

It applies the same micro-punctures to the scalp to stimulate microcirculation and let hair actives reach the area. It is cosmetic support for weakened hair: it does not diagnose, it does not reverse androgenetic alopecia and it does not create hair where there is no follicle left. If the shedding is sudden, patchy or comes with itching and flaking, the dermatologist comes first.

With a pacemaker, defibrillator or other implanted electronic device, we do not work with radiofrequency or HIFU. With prostheses, plates, meshes, thread lifts or metal material it depends where they are: they condition the area and sometimes require your doctor’s go-ahead. Always say so at the assessment, even if it seems unrelated.

Carefully, and with adjusted expectations. Melasma is not eliminated: it is controlled and lived with, and some badly indicated techniques — aggressive peels, laser, deep microneedling — can make it worse. Before proposing anything we have to see what kind of mark it is, and if there is doubt about its origin you are referred to a dermatologist.

As a general guide, every one or two months is a reasonable rhythm for keeping skin in good shape, although very oily or blemish-prone skin may need it more often and other skins much less. It is the most sensible treatment to start with if you do not know where to begin.

It is done in stages: makeup removal, exfoliation, opening the pore, extraction of impurities, a specific active for your skin and final hydration. The hydrafacial works towards the same goal with a system of suction and active infusion, and tends to be more comfortable on sensitive skin.

It speeds up the renewal of the skin’s surface layer to improve tone, texture and surface pigmentation. Depending on the intensity there can be some redness and fine flaking in the following days. Less than an injected filler, and it is worth knowing beforehand. Hyaluronic acid is reabsorbable and the body gradually clears it; on top of that, the Hialuronpen works superficially, so its effect is subtler and shorter than a medical injection. Exactly how long depends on your skin and your metabolism, and is discussed at the assessment.

The discomfort is low. The Hialuronpen introduces the product by pressure rather than with a needle, which avoids the puncture, and topical anaesthetic can also be applied. Some swelling in the first few hours is normal, is part of the process, and goes down.

That is the criterion here: harmony with the rest of your face before volume. It can be worked conservatively, then we see how it settles and assess afterwards whether you want a little more. It is far easier to add at a second appointment than to correct an excess.

The Hialuronpen applies hyaluronic acid by pressure, with no needle, which makes it easier to tolerate and lowers the risk of bruising, but it works at a shallower depth. An injection with a needle is a medical act, is done in other layers and gives a different kind of result. They are not interchangeable.

It is planned as a progressive course of several sessions, because the aim is to improve the quality of the skin and that does not happen all at once. The usual pattern groups the first sessions closer together and then spaces them out as maintenance. It is adjusted to your skin at the assessment.

It is for getting actives — vitamins, hyaluronic acid, peptides, hydrating factors — into the skin, beyond where a cream reaches. It is used above all on dehydrated, dull skin, on dark circles and on first lines. It is a treatment for skin quality, not for volume.

It is an intense lip hydration treatment with a touch of colour, designed to give plumpness and light very naturally. It does not add volume like a filler, nor does it leave lasting colour like permanent makeup: it sits somewhere in between and holds for a limited time.

BB Lips

It is a technique that creates a small plasma arc acting by sublimation on very specific points of the skin, without cutting or passing through the tissue. It is used to tighten areas of excess skin and to remove benign surface lesions — warts, skin tags, marks — always assessed by a doctor first. It leaves visible crusting for a few days.

Very small dark crusts appear on the treated points and fall off on their own: that is the visible phase of the process and you have to plan for it. Meanwhile they are not scratched, not covered with makeup, and the area is protected from the sun. Timings vary from person to person and by area.

It depends a lot on the area and the goal: removing a small lesion can be resolved in one session, while tightening work is sometimes planned in stages, always waiting for the skin to recover fully in between. It is assessed at the first visit.

Worked correctly it acts at the surface and is not intended to leave a mark, but as with any technique that triggers skin recovery, the result depends on how you heal and on you following the aftercare. If you have a tendency to keloids, say so beforehand: it changes the assessment.

Normal life yes, but with the area on show: you go out with the crusts on and they cannot be covered with makeup. You avoid direct sun, intense heat, the pool and hard gym sessions while it heals. That is why it is best not to schedule it right before an event or a trip.

It is not surgery and does not go as far. It is a non-surgical alternative that tightens excess eyelid skin to open up the gaze, indicated when the excess is mild or moderate. If there is a lot of skin, or the eyelid falls over your vision, what is called for is a surgical assessment.

First we have to be sure what that mark is: if it has changed in appearance or there is any doubt, you are referred to a dermatologist before it is touched. It can improve their appearance and texture, especially on stretch marks that are already white and established, by working the skin around them so the mark shows less. It does not make them disappear, and anyone promising otherwise is selling. It is assessed area by area and you are told what real margin there is.

Yes. Body work — cellulite, laxity, remodelling — is cumulative by definition: each session builds on the last and the result is built across a plan. A one-off treatment can leave a pleasant feeling, but that is not where the change is.

They show across the plan, not at the end of the first session, and they hold up far better alongside hydration, movement and food. This is not a shortcut around habits: it is a tool that works considerably better when the habits are there.

They are not weight-loss treatments and should not be approached that way. They work on firmness, contour and the appearance of the skin in specific areas. If your goal is to lose weight, the route is a different one, and the honest thing is to tell you before you book anything.

The usual areas are the abdomen, inner thighs, arms and buttocks: places where the skin loses firmness and muscle does not solve it. It is assessed area by area, because not all of them respond the same and not all are good candidates.

It is a treatment with an Nd:YAG laser over a layer of activated charcoal applied to the skin: the laser acts on those particles and carries impurities away, refining texture and giving immediate luminosity. It is done with no downtime, which is why it is popular before an event.

Laser hair removal is done in sessions because the laser is only effective on hair in its growth phase, and at any given moment only some of it is. That is why they are spaced out: to reach each follicle at its moment. The number varies by area, by hair type and by person.

We work with a diode laser, suitable for a wide range of phototypes, including darker skins when the parameters are set properly. Where the laser has least margin is on very fair, blonde, red or grey hair, because it needs pigment to act on. It is checked at the assessment.
